Use Jooosi Mail → Settings to configure plugin-wide delivery defaults. The settings screen groups options into Delivery, Logs, Sender, Limits, Recovery, and Alerts. Connection-level options can override applicable global defaults.
Choose delivery behavior#
On the Delivery tab, enable or disable Jooosi Mail’s handling of outgoing WordPress email. Choose synchronous delivery to send during the current request, or asynchronous delivery to put messages in the queue. Select a routing strategy: single, weighted random, round robin, or failover. For how each strategy selects a connection, see Delivery strategies and failover.
Set log retention#
On the Logs tab, enable email logs and choose whether terminal logs are retained indefinitely or for a custom duration. Active pending, queued, and processing messages remain stored while delivery needs their payload. See Email logs and resending.
Set sender defaults#
On the Sender tab, set the global From name and address and choose a Return-Path policy: use the provider default, match the From address, or use a custom address.
Configure limits and recovery#
The Limits tab sets global rate-limit defaults for each connection across minute, hour, and day windows. The Recovery tab controls circuit-breaker defaults and queue retries, including retry count, initial delay, multiplier, and maximum delay. Per-connection limit and breaker settings can further tune a provider.
Save changes#
Choose Save settings after changing values. Check the relevant dashboard or connection to confirm the behavior. For alerts, use the Alerts tab; see Delivery failure alerts.
