What is Sweego?#
Sweego is an email delivery service with API and SMTP routes for transactional messages. Read more on the official website and in the official documentation.
Profile#
The Jooosi Mail Sweego profile supports these transports and settings:
- Transport schemes:
sweego+api(default) andsweego+smtp. - API: enter the required API key in
api_key. - SMTP: enter the required host, port, login, and password in
host, port, username, andpassword. - The password is secret. Webhooks also require a Webhook secret when enabled for the connection.
Select a transport scheme and fill in the fields shown for that scheme. Secret fields should be copied from your provider account and kept private.
Create the connection#
- In WordPress admin, open Jooosi Mail → Connections and choose New connection.
- Enter a descriptive Connection name and select Sweego in Profile.
- Choose the transport scheme and enter the matching required credentials listed in the Profile section.
- Review the sender, routing, and advanced settings for this connection.
- Choose Create connection to save it.
For the shared connection workflow, see Provider profiles and transports.
Verify delivery#
Follow Send a test email and send it to a mailbox you can check. A test sends a real email. Check the mailbox and Jooosi Mail → Logs for the attempt status. See Email logs and resending for details.
Webhooks#
Sweego events include sent, delivered, soft/hard bounce, unsubscribe, complaint, click, and open. Enable Webhooks, save the connection, and configure the displayed callback URL in Sweego. Enter the webhook signing secret in the connection; Jooosi Mail verifies the signature. See Provider webhooks.
Troubleshooting#
- For API, check the API key; for SMTP, check that all four SMTP settings match the provider account. When enabling webhooks, provide the Webhook secret. If signature checks fail, confirm the secret and callback signing settings. For more detail on a failed attempt, review Jooosi Mail email logs.
