What is AhaSend?#

AhaSend is an email delivery service for sending transactional messages through an API or SMTP. See the AhaSend site and its official documentation for account and sender setup. Official links: AhaSend website · AhaSend documentation.

Profile#

Jooosi Mail supports ahasend+api (default) and ahasend+smtp. For API, enter the AhaSend API key. For SMTP, enter the SMTP username and SMTP password. The profile supports delivery webhooks; enabling them also requires a webhook secret.

Create the connection#

Before you start, create or prepare your AhaSend account, sending domain or sender identity, and the credentials for the transport you will use. Keep credentials private.

  1. In WordPress admin, open Jooosi Mail → Connections and choose New connection.
  2. Enter a descriptive Connection name and select AhaSend in Profile.
  3. Choose the transport scheme and enter only the settings listed for it in the Profile section.
  4. Review the sender, routing, and advanced settings, then choose Create connection to save it.

Verify delivery#

Use Send a test email with this connection and send a message to a mailbox you can check. The test sends a real email. Confirm it arrives and review Jooosi Mail → Logs for the attempt status and provider response.

Webhooks#

AhaSend webhooks are supported. Enable Webhooks in the connection’s Advanced settings, set the same secret in Jooosi Mail and AhaSend, then configure the callback using the endpoint shown for the connection. Jooosi Mail verifies AhaSend signatures. See the Provider webhooks guide and AhaSend documentation.

Troubleshooting#

Check that the selected scheme matches its credentials: the API key is for API, while SMTP requires its own username and password. For rejected webhooks, match the connection webhook secret to the signing secret configured in AhaSend.

For endpoint and event configuration, see the Provider webhooks guide.
