What is toSend?#
toSend provides an API for sending transactional email from applications. Read more on the official website and in the official documentation.
Profile#
The Jooosi Mail toSend profile supports these transports and settings:
- Transport scheme:
tosend+api(default and only option). - API: enter the required API key in
api_key; it is a secret. - When webhooks are enabled for the connection, a Webhook secret is required. No SMTP or additional provider settings are exposed.
Select a transport scheme and fill in the fields shown for that scheme. Secret fields should be copied from your provider account and kept private.
Create the connection#
- In WordPress admin, open Jooosi Mail → Connections and choose New connection.
- Enter a descriptive Connection name and select toSend in Profile.
- Choose the transport scheme and enter the matching required credentials listed in the Profile section.
- Review the sender, routing, and advanced settings for this connection.
- Choose Create connection to save it.
For the shared connection workflow, see Provider profiles and transports.
Verify delivery#
Follow Send a test email and send it to a mailbox you can check. A test sends a real email. Check the mailbox and Jooosi Mail → Logs for the attempt status. See Email logs and resending for details.
Webhooks#
The adapter recognizes bounced and complaint events. Enable Webhooks and set the callback URL displayed by Jooosi Mail in toSend. A Webhook secret is required when webhook ingestion is enabled; Jooosi Mail uses it to verify the HMAC signature. See toSend webhook documentation and the shared Provider webhooks guide.
Troubleshooting#
- Confirm
api_key is present and belongs to the correct toSend account. If enabling webhooks, save the required Webhook secret and check that the provider callback URL is current. For more detail on a failed attempt, review Jooosi Mail email logs.
