What is Microsoft Graph?#
Microsoft Graph is Microsoft’s API for Microsoft 365 data and services, including sending mail from a user mailbox. Read more on the official website and in the official documentation.
Profile#
Jooosi Mail supports one Microsoft Graph API transport. The profile uses an app registration and tenant, with optional endpoint settings for a custom cloud environment.
- Transport: microsoftgraph+api is the only supported scheme.
- Required: client app ID, client app secret (secret), and tenant ID.
- Optional Graph endpoint: Graph endpoint host; leave the default for the standard Microsoft cloud.
- Custom endpoint: Auth endpoint host becomes required when a custom Graph endpoint is selected.
- Sent Items: Do not save to Sent Items defaults to false.
Create the connection#
Before creating the connection, configure the Microsoft application and tenant to send mail for the account you intend to use. The profile does not describe or verify Microsoft-side permissions; use Microsoft’s documentation for tenant-specific setup.
- In WordPress admin, open Jooosi Mail → Connections and choose New connection.
- Enter a descriptive Connection name and select Microsoft Graph in Profile.
- Select microsoftgraph+api and enter the client app ID, client app secret, and tenant ID. Leave endpoint hosts at their defaults for the standard Microsoft cloud; a custom Graph endpoint also requires its matching Auth endpoint host.
- Review the sender, routing, and advanced settings for this connection.
- Choose Create connection to save it.
For the shared connection workflow, see Provider profiles and transports.
Verify delivery#
Follow Send a test email and send it to a mailbox you can check. A test sends a real email. Check the mailbox and Jooosi Mail → Logs for the attempt status. See Email logs and resending for details.
Webhooks#
The Microsoft Graph profile does not declare a provider webhook adapter. Track delivery attempts in Jooosi Mail email logs.
Troubleshooting#
- For missing-field validation, confirm the scheme and enter the client app ID, client app secret, and tenant ID.
- For the standard Microsoft cloud, leave both endpoint hosts at their defaults. If you enter a custom Graph endpoint, also enter its matching Auth endpoint host; Jooosi Mail requires it.
- Check the client app ID, secret, and tenant ID as a set, then review the email log for provider errors.
