What is SMTP2GO?#
SMTP2GO provides email delivery through its API and SMTP relay. Read more on the official website and in the official documentation.
Profile#
The Jooosi Mail SMTP2GO profile supports these transports and settings:
- Transport schemes:
smtp2go+api(default),smtp2go+smtp, andsmtp2go+smtps. - API: enter the required API key in
api_key. - SMTP or SMTPS: enter the required SMTP username in
usernameand password inpassword. - Region: optional choice with
global(default),us,eu,eu2, andau; applies to API and SMTP.
Select a transport scheme and fill in the fields shown for that scheme. Secret fields should be copied from your provider account and kept private.
Create the connection#
- In WordPress admin, open Jooosi Mail → Connections and choose New connection.
- Enter a descriptive Connection name and select SMTP2GO in Profile.
- Choose the transport scheme and enter the matching required credentials listed in the Profile section.
- Review the sender, routing, and advanced settings for this connection.
- Choose Create connection to save it.
For the shared connection workflow, see Provider profiles and transports.
Verify delivery#
Follow Send a test email and send it to a mailbox you can check. A test sends a real email. Check the mailbox and Jooosi Mail → Logs for the attempt status. See Email logs and resending for details.
Webhooks#
The adapter recognizes processed, delivered, open, click, bounce, spam-complaint, unsubscribe, resubscribe, and rejected events. Enable Webhooks in the connection’s Advanced settings, save, then configure the callback URL displayed in Jooosi Mail in SMTP2GO. See Provider webhooks.
Troubleshooting#
- Match the credential fields to the scheme, and confirm the selected region matches your SMTP2GO account. If the callback is not recorded, confirm the provider is posting to the current connection callback URL and review Jooosi Mail webhook logs. For more detail on a failed attempt, review Jooosi Mail email logs.
