What is SparkPost?#
SparkPost provides email delivery services with API and SMTP transport options. Read more on the official website and in the official documentation.
Profile#
The Jooosi Mail SparkPost profile supports these transports and settings:
- Transport schemes:
sparkpost+api(default),sparkpost+smtp, andsparkpost+smtps. - API: enter the required API key in
api_key. - SMTP or SMTPS: enter the required SMTP API key in
smtp_api_key. - Region: optional choice; the only supported value is
eu. The setting applies to all supported schemes.
Select a transport scheme and fill in the fields shown for that scheme. Secret fields should be copied from your provider account and kept private.
Create the connection#
- In WordPress admin, open Jooosi Mail → Connections and choose New connection.
- Enter a descriptive Connection name and select SparkPost in Profile.
- Choose the transport scheme and enter the matching required credentials listed in the Profile section.
- Review the sender, routing, and advanced settings for this connection.
- Choose Create connection to save it.
For the shared connection workflow, see Provider profiles and transports.
Verify delivery#
Follow Send a test email and send it to a mailbox you can check. A test sends a real email. Check the mailbox and Jooosi Mail → Logs for the attempt status. See Email logs and resending for details.

SparkPost webhooks include injection, delivery, delay, bounce, spam complaint, out-of-band, policy rejection, generation failure/rejection, open, and click events. Enable Webhooks in the connection’s Advanced settings, save, then configure the callback URL shown by Jooosi Mail in SparkPost. See Provider webhooks.
