What is MailPace?#
MailPace is an email delivery service for application and transactional email, available through API and SMTP. Read more on the official website and in the official documentation.
Profile#
The MailPace profile supports API and SMTP delivery with a separate token field for each route.
- API: mailpace+api is the default and requires an API token (secret).
- SMTP: mailpace+smtp requires an SMTP API token (secret).
- The profile does not ask for an SMTP username or separate host settings.
Create the connection#
Before you begin, create an account and prepare the credentials for the selected transport. Complete any sender or domain verification required by the provider.
- In WordPress admin, open Jooosi Mail → Connections and choose New connection.
- Enter a descriptive Connection name and select MailPace in Profile.
- Choose mailpace+api or mailpace+smtp and enter the token issued for that route. The API token and SMTP API token are separate fields.
- Review the sender, routing, and advanced settings for this connection.
- Choose Create connection to save it.
For the shared connection workflow, see Provider profiles and transports.
Verify delivery#
Follow Send a test email and send it to a mailbox you can check. A test sends a real email. Check the mailbox and Jooosi Mail → Logs for the attempt status. See Email logs and resending for details.
Webhooks#
The MailPace profile does not declare a provider webhook adapter. Track delivery outcomes in Jooosi Mail email logs.
Troubleshooting#
- For missing-field validation, confirm the scheme and fill the matching token field listed in Profile.
- After a failed test, re-copy the token for the selected route and inspect the connection status and email log.
- An API token does not satisfy the SMTP field, or vice versa. Reselect the scheme and check its corresponding token field.
