What is Elastic Email?#
Elastic Email is an email delivery service with API and SMTP options. See Elastic Email’s site and API documentation for account and sending setup. Official links: Elastic Email website · Elastic Email documentation.
Profile#
The profile supports elasticemail+api (default), elasticemail+smtp, and elasticemail+smtps. API requires an Elastic Email API key. SMTP and SMTPS require the Elastic Email SMTP username and password. This profile does not declare provider webhooks.
Create the connection#
Before you start, create or prepare your Elastic Email account, sending domain or sender identity, and the credentials for the transport you will use. Keep credentials private.
- In WordPress admin, open Jooosi Mail → Connections and choose New connection.
- Enter a descriptive Connection name and select Elastic Email in Profile.
- Choose the transport scheme and enter only the settings listed for it in the Profile section.
- Review the sender, routing, and advanced settings, then choose Create connection to save it.
Verify delivery#
Use Send a test email with this connection and send a message to a mailbox you can check. The test sends a real email. Confirm it arrives and review Jooosi Mail → Logs for the attempt status and provider response.
Webhooks#
This profile does not declare a provider webhook adapter. Use Jooosi Mail email logs to review sending attempts and delivery status.
Troubleshooting#
For API, use the API key; for SMTP or SMTPS, use the SMTP username and password. Check that the connection scheme matches the intended method and that the sender address is accepted by Elastic Email.
