What is Azure?#
Azure Communication Services Email provides email capabilities for applications using Azure Communication Services. See Microsoft’s product page and Email documentation for resource, domain, and sender setup. Official links: Azure website · Azure documentation.
Profile#
Jooosi Mail supports azure+api only. Required settings are the Azure ACS resource name and API key. API version is optional (the implementation defaults to 2023-03-31); Disable Azure tracking is an optional true/false choice and defaults to false. This profile does not declare provider webhooks.
Create the connection#
Before you start, create or prepare your Azure account, sending domain or sender identity, and the credentials for the transport you will use. Keep credentials private.
- In WordPress admin, open Jooosi Mail → Connections and choose New connection.
- Enter a descriptive Connection name and select Azure in Profile.
- Choose the transport scheme and enter only the settings listed for it in the Profile section.
- Review the sender, routing, and advanced settings, then choose Create connection to save it.
Verify delivery#
Use Send a test email with this connection and send a message to a mailbox you can check. The test sends a real email. Confirm it arrives and review Jooosi Mail → Logs for the attempt status and provider response.
Webhooks#
This profile does not declare a provider webhook adapter. Use Jooosi Mail email logs to review sending attempts and delivery status.
Troubleshooting#
Check that the resource name belongs to the Azure Communication Services resource and that its API key is current. If you set an API version, use a version supported by the resource. Confirm the sender domain/address is configured for Azure Email.
