WordPress relies on email for password resets, contact form notifications, order updates, and more. When a message goes missing, it can be hard to tell which service handled it or what happened next. Today, we’re introducing Jooosi Mail, a WordPress plugin for configuring email connections and reviewing delivery activity from your dashboard.
Mail delivery can involve settings in WordPress, a mail host, and an email provider. Jooosi Mail brings connection setup and message history together in one place, so you can see how your site sends email and review the activity that follows.
📨 One workflow for WordPress email#
Jooosi Mail works with WordPress’s standard wp_mail() function. Core messages and email from compatible plugins such as WooCommerce and Contact Form 7 can use your configured connection, so you can manage delivery without changing each plugin’s email code.
Choose an SMTP connection or a provider API where available. The catalog includes:

⚙️ Delivery and monitoring#
Send messages immediately or queue them for background processing with Action Scheduler. You can configure multiple connections and a supported failover strategy, so a backup connection can handle delivery if the active provider is unavailable. Connection health and delivery history give you useful context when troubleshooting.
🔎 Message logs#
Delivery logs show sent, queued, and failed messages, along with delivery attempts. Send a test email to check a connection or resend a retained message. Each resend creates a new delivery record, while the original history stays available.
🔔 Provider webhook events#
Providers with webhook support can send event updates back to your site. Jooosi Mail can add delivery, bounce, complaint, open, and click activity to a message’s history where the provider supports those events. Webhook setup and event coverage vary by provider.
🛠️ Tools for site owners and developers#
Site owners can configure connections and review email activity in WordPress admin. Developers can use WP-CLI for operational tasks such as managing connections, processing queues, running migrations, and diagnostics. Both interfaces work with the same delivery setup.
🚀 Get started with Jooosi Mail#
Jooosi Mail is free to install from WordPress.org. After activating the plugin, configure a provider connection and send a test email before using it for your site’s regular messages. Add queueing or more connections as your needs grow.
