Rosua is now Jooosi. The name has changed, but the work behind it has not. Jooosi is the new shared home for the WordPress products, support, and ideas we have been building over the years.
This change gives a growing body of work a clearer identity—one that better reflects where we are today and gives us room for what comes next.
More than a new name#
Rosua gave us a place to begin. It carried the work through early releases, long development cycles, support conversations, and the steady process of turning small ideas into dependable WordPress products.
As those products matured, the work around them grew too. A collection of individual tools became something more connected: a product ecosystem with shared standards for quality, maintenance, documentation, licensing, and support. The old identity no longer told that whole story as clearly as it needed to.
Jooosi gives that work a stronger shared home. It lets every product keep its focus while making the relationship between them easier to understand.
Where the name comes from#
Jooosi has a personal beginning. It grew from Josi, the first nickname my girlfriend gave me when we first met. She calls me by a different nickname these days, but Josi stayed with me.
When it was time to name this next chapter, giving that name a new shape felt right. It carries the memory of a meaningful beginning while giving us a distinct identity for everything we are building now.
Why we made the change#
A useful brand should make the work easier to recognize, explain, and trust. We wanted an identity that could do three things well:
- Create one clear home. Products, documentation, support, and field notes should feel like parts of the same experience.
- Give the product family more coherence. Each tool solves a focused problem, but all of them are shaped by the same approach to WordPress work.
- Leave room to grow. The identity needs to support what exists now without limiting what we can build next.
Jooosi is a new name for the same practical ambition: make serious WordPress work clearer, calmer, and more capable.
What is changing#
The most visible change is the name. Rosua becomes Jooosi, with a new visual identity and jooo.si as the primary home for the ecosystem.
The new website brings the catalog, journal, account area, and support paths into a more consistent system. The presentation is quieter and more deliberate, with clearer product relationships and fewer boundaries between learning about a tool and putting it to work.
You will see the Jooosi name appear across our communication and product touchpoints. Some details will change immediately; others will move over carefully as releases are prepared. The goal is consistency without creating unnecessary disruption.
What stays the same#
The important parts are not being replaced. Jooosi remains an independent studio focused on WordPress. We are still building practical products for people who care about the details between development and production.
Our responsibility to the people using those products stays the same as well: maintain the code, keep pace with WordPress and PHP, document the work honestly, and provide thoughtful support when something gets in the way.
A rebrand does not make software better on its own. That still comes from shipping releases, resolving edge cases, protecting compatibility, and listening closely. The new identity matters because it gives that ongoing work a clearer foundation—not because it replaces it.
One ecosystem, several focused products#
Jooosi is now the shared home for WindPress, Jooosi Fon, Jooosi Icon, and Jooosi Mail. One brings Tailwind CSS into WordPress workflows, one makes font management more capable, one gives icon systems a better place to live, and one makes WordPress email delivery easier to configure and monitor.
They do not need to become identical. Each product should remain focused on its own job and community. What they now share more visibly is the system around them: the quality bar, the way we communicate changes, the support experience, and the care given to long-term maintenance.
Built for the work between idea and production#
Good WordPress work rarely happens in one tool. It moves through editors, builders, themes, plugins, assets, deployment, and maintenance. The details between those stages are often where friction accumulates.
Jooosi is our commitment to keep working on that space. Sometimes the answer will be a new product. Sometimes it will be a smaller improvement, a clearer guide, a compatibility fix, or a support reply that saves someone an afternoon. All of those things count.
A clearer foundation for what comes next#
This rebrand is an opportunity to make the whole experience more coherent, but it is also a promise to stay grounded. We want Jooosi to be known for products that solve real problems, respect existing workflows, and remain dependable after the launch announcement is over.
There is more to refine, more to connect, and more to build. The new name gives us a better place to do it.
Welcome to Jooosi#
To everyone who found our work through Rosua, used a product, reported an issue, shared feedback, or recommended us to someone else: thank you. You helped shape what this has become.
Rosua brought us here. Jooosi is where we continue.
