Sharing a new post should not mean rebuilding the same graphic for every page—or discovering later that a link preview still shows last month’s details. Today we’re introducing Jooosi Social Image, a WordPress plugin for designing branded images and keeping them connected to the content they represent.

One design for the places your content is shared#

Create a visual layout in WordPress, then use it for Open Graph and X/Twitter previews. You can also generate a featured image and, when useful, save that output to the Media Library. A single design gives your posts a consistent look across social platforms and your site.

The visual editor lets you arrange and style text, image, SVG, and shape layers. Add live WordPress values such as a post title, excerpt, author, or taxonomy so each generated image reflects its own content.

Start with a template, then make it yours#

Jooosi Social Image includes 65 ready-made templates to help you get started. Choose a design as it is, adapt it to your brand, or build a layout from scratch. Teams can also add a public template repository and share reusable starting points across projects.

Choose where each design applies#

A design can target the content that needs it. Set rules around post types, taxonomies, metadata, text, and dates, then use nested all-or-any conditions to describe the right combination. That makes it possible to use one visual system for a product launch, another for evergreen guides, and a third for a particular content group.

Keep generated images in sync#

Social Image generates image files in the background and connects each output to the content and design that produced it. When a post or its design changes, the plugin refreshes the affected image. This keeps previews current without asking you to export and upload a new graphic for every edit.

Fit into your existing WordPress setup#

Jooosi Social Image works with Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO, and SEOPress. If you are not using one of those plugins, it can output its own Open Graph and X/Twitter image tags. Supported custom-field integrations include Advanced Custom Fields, Meta Box, Toolset, and JetEngine when available on the site.

For developers, the plugin also provides a PHP API, REST endpoints, WP-CLI commands, filters, and a shortcode. The renderer can use Imagick or GD with FreeType, and its settings include diagnostics for rendering and background generation.

Get started with Jooosi Social Image#

Install and activate the plugin, choose a template or create a design, connect it to your content, and set where it should appear. Jooosi Social Image has a free plan. It requires WordPress 7.0 or later and PHP 8.0 or later.

With Jooosi Social Image, your social previews can be part of the publishing workflow: designed once, filled with the right content, and refreshed as your site changes.
